About Leo

I'm Leo, I've lived all my life abroad (China, Malaysia, United States) but always within the French system. My friends and family are all French and I always go each summer to the south of France to see all the family. Currently studying in London, I've helped many of my international friends to teach them the French language. It's not the easiest language, I'll acknowledge that but it's worth it. I believe I am passionate with a deep love for language and culture. I’ve worked with learners of all ages and backgrounds — from absolute beginners to advanced speakers — and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each student’s unique story. With a background in 3 years of tutoring experience, I bring both structure and creativity to every lesson. I’m fluent in both French and English, which allows me to explain complex grammar clearly while keeping our sessions engaging and stress-free. I believe learning a language should be a joyful, confidence-building experience — and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

About the lesson

Bonjour ! I’m passionate about helping students learn French in a way that’s truly meaningful to them. My tutoring style is built around you — your goals, your pace, and your learning style. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all lessons. Whether you’re learning French for school, work, travel, or personal growth, I tailor every session to suit your unique needs. We focus on real-life communication, building your confidence in speaking and understanding French from day one. What makes my approach different? Personalised Lessons – Each session is designed specifically for you. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your fluency, we'll build a plan that works with your strengths and challenges. Interactive and Engaging – We’ll use conversation, role-play, audio, video, and cultural insights to keep things dynamic and relevant. You won’t just learn French – you’ll live it. Support Beyond the Lesson – I provide additional resources, feedback, and support between sessions to help you keep progressing and stay motivated. Patient and Encouraging – I create a safe space where mistakes are part of the process and every success is celebrated. Whether you're shy about speaking or eager to dive in, I’m here to guide you step by step towards your goals. Let’s turn learning French into something exciting and empowering.
