About Ania
Hello I am a Montessori Guide with a Uni degree in foreign language. I teach Italian using Montessori Method. I have 25 plus years of experience. I studied Montessori Method in New York, Brighton, Munich, Bozen and in Tuscany.
I love teaching as I started at a really young age doing that. But I felt many traditional ways of teaching very restrictive. I was really good at taking A+ scores but something felt off like, where is my personality around this? Studying Montessori Method gave the possibility of discovering my talents and the talents of students without judgement and with love and passion for knowledge. Going into depth is my speciality. I love to understand things instead of studying them parrot-like. I love to have fun instead of being competitive. And Montessori Method is exactly based on these fundamentals. So, this is my approach and I hope you will enjoy this with me.

That is what Maria Montessori based her method on and she used to teach to her guide teachers. As a consequence of that, teachers are called guides, because they guide you towards your talents and skills. Lessons are not mere lists of things to be memorised and repeated.
