Hello my name is Haneefah and I’m in year 8 going on year 9. I teach maths for 11 plus so year 4-6. Lessons will be on Zoom. I did my 11 plus in 2024 I passed and now I go to a grammar school.

About Haneefah
Well I’m currently a student at a grammar school. I’m also currently in year 8 I understand why parents may be concerned with having a young teacher but I promise you that I will work hard to teach your child and support them with their 11 plus journey. I know tutoring can be scary as once I was a student who was in the position and that is why I find having a younger teacher can make them feel less intimidated.
The reason I would love to teach your child maths is because it is a subject that I’m strong at, I really love and I would love to pass on my knowledge also even preparing them for year 7.

I’m a young person so I can relate with your student as once I was in that position not being the smartest. My teaching method is using slideShows to explain every subject then I will use the textbook Delta one from Pearson. Once we have finished each topic we can do past papers on the topics. Once we have finished the book and there is still time we will do past papers on maths and go over any grey areas. Each lesson will only be an hour as I am still a student. I don’t have a lot of experience but I am able to support your child and find ways that work for them. Lessons will only be for 11 plus tutoring and the youngest I will accept will be year 4. Also you are welcome to buy the book if you want.
