About Lucie
As well as qualified teacher status, I have a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Durham. At A Level I studied Biology, Chemistry and Geography so I have a well-rounded background in the sciences which also includes having worked a couple of years in industry. Qualifying with a PGCE from Leeds University in 2009, I am an experienced Primary School Teacher and 11+ tutor with a passion for building children's confidence and helping them to achieve their full potential. Children make the most progress when they are confident and happy in their learning, my main aim during my sessions is to create an environment where children can make mistakes, ask questions and build on their existing skills and knowledge. My lessons are varied and interactive and I strive to make learning as fun as possible.
