About Chinaza
I am a teacher presntly teaching Literature-in-English in a secondary school in Jos. As a secondary school teacher, I have taught both junior and senior school, as so I am quite familiar with students at both levels
I have completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and I am awaiting my result. For my first degree, I studied Communication and Language Arts at the University of Ibadan and my experience as a communicator helps me understand my students better. I have also attended a couple of workshops that has helped me improve as a teacher. One of such workshop is the Strategic Teachers Workshop which was held in Jos.

My teaching method is largely based on the class I am teaching. As a teacher, I am constantly familiarizing myself with the 21st century teaching and learning skills which largely encompasses collaboration, digital learning, critical thinking, and problem solving. As a teacher of Literature, I have come to realize that students have a wild imagination and an interesting perspective of the subject matter they are exposed to which sometimes differs from mine and I always give room for expression. For most of my classes, I give the students a topic ahead of the next class and allow them share their own opinions before I share mine. This helps for an interactive lesson. And because of the nature of the subject, my teaching methods largely centers around interaction, group discussions and group presentations.
