About Alexis
"Students leave every session with a clear understanding of their progress. I turn your specific song requests into simplified arrangements that work for your skill level. You will find that my 13 years of experience helps break down complex acoustic techniques. I focus on improvisation and soloing to help you find your unique voice.
My training from Concordia University ensures that every concept is grounded in solid musical theory. We will examine electric technique and tuning to keep your sound sharp. The sessions accommodate performance-focused students who want to get on stage.
Beginners often find that my patient guidance makes learning these skills much easier. I make sure the material matches your current ability. You will gain confidence through consistent practice."

"Playing folk music for 13 years defined my musical upbringing. I spent years perfecting my technique on both acoustic and electric guitars.
I have taught 388 students over the last 13 years. I focus on blues progressions, improvisation, and reading tabs. You can also work with me on power chords and maintenance.
I enjoy watching absolute beginners start their journey. My hands-on style keeps things moving."
