About Eric
Focusing on the rhythm guitar and power chords makes practice feel less like a chore and more like a creative outlet. It is interesting how quickly theory clicks when you apply it to a song you actually like, especially if you are a working professional with limited time. I provide a monthly recorded review of progress so you can hear your own growth over time.
My music education background helps me break down complex modes into manageable, practical steps for grade exam candidates. I hold a BM Music Education from U of T. Teaching is my primary trade. I have guided 234 students across the fretboard.
This work has spanned 13 years of dedicated instruction. I focus on acoustic technique and scales. We will look at improvisation and soloing together.
Reading tabs becomes second nature here. You will master the music theory required to succeed. I look forward to hearing your progress.
