About Mira
I have over 4 years of experience as a French tutor and hold a Master’s degree in Bilingual Education with a focus on applied linguistics. I love using technology to make online lessons interactive and effective. Tools like virtual whiteboards, vocabulary apps, and speech recognition software help students practice speaking and expand their skills in a fun way. My sessions are flexible and student-led, allowing learners to focus on what matters most to them. I’ve taught students from many different time zones and cultures, which has helped me adapt my teaching style to fit each person’s needs. Teaching remotely has taught me the importance of creating a supportive and engaging environment, no matter where my students are. I believe learning French should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Together, we can make French learning flexible, fun, and suited to your schedule. Whether you want to improve conversation, prepare for exams, or explore French culture, I’m here to help you succeed. Let’s make your French journey exciting and rewarding—wherever you are!

My teaching approach to French is designed to help students gain a deep understanding of the language while keeping lessons engaging and practical. I focus on building strong foundations in grammar and vocabulary first. Then, I introduce classic French literature to help students appreciate the language’s beauty and history.
We practice debate skills to improve speaking confidence and critical thinking. Analyzing news articles is also part of my method, which helps students stay informed and learn real-life language use. Creative writing is another key area, allowing learners to express themselves and expand their vocabulary.
I support both professional learners and hobbyists, tailoring lessons to their goals. Whether preparing for work or exploring French for fun, I guide students to excel. My method encourages active participation and regular practice, helping learners become comfortable and fluent.
I focus on clear explanations and practical examples. I also provide constructive feedback to help students improve steadily. My goal is to make learning French rewarding and meaningful. I believe that understanding culture and language together leads to true mastery. With patience and support, every student can reach their full potential in French.
