About Hana

I was born and raised in Japan until I decided to move to the U.S. for high school at the age of 15. I love running and lifting and enjoy any type of activity involving the outdoors. Tutoring Japanese has helped me stay connected to my language and culture while helping others, so it's such an amazing thing for me. I would love to share my knowledge and support while you study this beautiful language.

About the lesson

I have experience teaching kids from 6 years old in immersion programs to adults trying to learn the language for the first time. I offer homework help, conversational assistance, and teaching the language from the very beginning. I usually recommend 1-hour sessions 2-4 times a week but am flexible as to what works best for you Throughout my experience, parents have told me their kids’ participation in the class had increased because of the confidence and skills they had gained with me. I would love to help you next!
