About Artyom
I’m a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong academic background in mathematics and physics. I achieved A*AAA in A-levels, including Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Music. Throughout school, I consistently performed at a high level, receiving awards for academic excellence and regularly scoring “Best in Year” and “Best in School” in national competitions such as the UKMT (UK Mathematics Trust) challenges. My experience as a student who has recently gone through the system myself allows me to connect with tutees not just academically, but also on a personal level. I understand the pressure of exams and the value of clear, structured support. My aim is to create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make progress, and build real confidence in their abilities.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit the individual. My approach emphasises asking the right questions and guiding students towards a deep, intuitive understanding of key concepts. Alongside this, we focus on exam technique and effectively "playing the game" when it comes to qualifications like GCSEs and A-levels. Lessons typically last an hour, and I sometimes provide extra practice to help students gain a further grasp on the material where needed. I have a strong academic background in both mathematics and physics, with experience tutoring students from secondary school through to early university level. I’m here to support learners of all skill levels.
