About Amy
I am a dedicated and hardworking Grade 10 student who is passionate about helping others succeed in math. With mid-90s grades in math, I have a strong understanding of concepts and can explain problems in a clear and simple way.
I create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and build their confidence. My goal is to help students improve their skills, understand math better, and feel more prepared for their classes.

I use a patient and supportive approach to help students understand math concepts instead of just memorizing steps. I teach by breaking down problems into smaller steps, explaining different methods, and giving students practice questions to build confidence.
A typical lesson starts by reviewing previous topics and identifying areas that need improvement. We then work through examples together, practice new skills, and finish with questions to make sure the student understands the concept.
As a Grade 10 student, I understand the challenges students face and can teach using methods that are relatable and easy to follow.
My lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students who want extra support, better understanding, and more confidence in math.
