About Riddhi

I’m a high school AP French student with a strong background in Core French and many years of experience learning it in school. Since I’ve recently completed the Core French curriculum, I understand what students are expected to know and why certain topics can feel confusing or stressful.

I try to make tutoring feel supportive and low-pressure while still staying organized and focused. I come prepared, explain things clearly, and adjust the pace based on what the student needs. Questions are always encouraged, and mistakes are treated as part of learning, not something to be embarrassed about.

My goal is to help students feel more confident in French and less overwhelmed in class. I aim to be someone students feel comfortable learning with, while still keeping lessons productive and professional.

About the lesson

My approach as a French tutor focuses on building strong foundations while helping students gain confidence in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained clearly and at a pace that matches their individual needs. Rather than relying on memorization, I emphasize understanding grammar rules, sentence structure, and common patterns in Core French.

I use a structured but flexible teaching style. Lessons include guided practice, clear explanations, and examples similar to those students encounter in school. I regularly review previously learned material before introducing new concepts to ensure students feel comfortable and supported. I also encourage questions and create a low-pressure learning environment where mistakes are treated as a natural part of the learning process.

Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material or homework. I then use short exercises or worksheets to assess the student’s current understanding and determine whether we should review further or move forward. Each lesson focuses on one key concept, such as verb conjugation, adjective agreement, or sentence formation. This is followed by guided practice using examples, short exercises, and school-based questions.
Students also complete reading comprehension activities, where they read passages aloud and answer questions to demonstrate their understanding of both reading and writing. Lessons usually end with a brief recap and strategies students can use independently between sessions.

As a high school AP French student, I understand the challenges students face in Core French because I have recently completed the same curriculum. This allows me to explain concepts in a relatable and student-friendly way. I also have a strong and long-standing background in French, having studied it consistently throughout my elementary and secondary education. I am patient, organized, and focused on helping students feel confident and supported rather than overwhelmed.

My lessons are designed for students in Grades 1–9 Core French, particularly those who need extra support with homework, grammar, or building confidence in class. Sessions are tailored to each student’s grade level, learning pace, and specific areas of difficulty.
