I’m a high school graduate who matriculated last year with a high average for Afrikaans HL. I’m passionate about helping people in understanding and feeling comfortable in speaking Afrikaans. My Afrikaans lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on making Afrikaans feel less intimidating and more practical by explaining concepts clearly, using real-life examples, and moving at a pace that works for the learner. I aim to build confidence as well as understanding, so students don’t just memorise rules but actually feel comfortable using the language.
I adapt my lessons to match school curricula, tests, and exams, while also helping students improve their speaking, writing, reading, and comprehension skills. My goal is to create a relaxed learning environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are part of the learning process.
