About Troye
When it comes to teaching, math is indeed my most confident subject. As you might've already read, I do have a lot of experience teaching not only normal math, but also competition math. I additionally have one-on-one tutoring experience from being a part of the Metís project. I am generally a really outgoing person and I will be a pretty relaxed tutor. I can help tutor a bunch of classes including Algebra, geometry, any middle school math course, and competition math!
Academically, I am a member of the Stuyvesant Math Team, and a member of the Stuyvesant Physics Team, and I regularly attend the NYC Math Team.
As the assistant coach of the JHS 190 Russell Sage Math Team, I additionally have numerous lessons ready to teach on several hot math topics and advanced topics like 3D geometry, combinatorics, coordinate geometry, number sequence, etc.
I am experienced in personalizing my teaching method in accordance to individual students, even when I am teaching in batches as large as 15 and lectures as large as 40 at a time. As long as the student is willing to learn, I can provide personal experiences, special advice that I devised on my own, and my own written lessons along with practice sheets.
