About Sofia
About me: With my unique combination of six years of Computer Science programming and theatre background, I am able to provide a productive, safe, and fun environment for your child.
Why me? I started Empowering Women with Code, an all-inclusive club and soon-to-be organization aimed at teaching both high school and elementary students because I personally knew how daunting STEM can be. I'm here to show the world that you don't have to be a "kid prodigy" or be Einstein himself to utilize coding to fulfill your own unique dreams.
Accomplishment: Through Empowering Women with Code, we have educated over 2000 elementary school students within the Moreno Valley Unified School District.

I can customize a lesson plan based on your child's level, needs, interests, and even their favorite TV show. My lesson plans are mainly based on projects from "code.org".
