About Jade

I am a high school student in grade eleven attending Meadowridge School in Maple Ridge, BC. I am currently doing the IB diploma program at my school. In the past I have taught kids ages 5 -10 how to read, how to improve their reading skills as well as basic math and spelling skills.

About the lesson

I like to adjust my teaching methods depending on the child I am working with. I like to make my lessons focused but also fun. A typical class with me starts with a review from the previous session, followed by a fun learning game or activity. After that we will complete activities and worksheets targeted towards what the child needs to work on. Depending on the child's struggles or the topic being covered I may assign some light homework for additional practice. I am always open to provide additional help and resources.
