About Eric

I am a post doctoral fellow currently employed at one of Canada highest ranked universities and hold a Ph. D. in materials/mechanical engineering.

I have an innate desire to teach, either as a tutor or professor and have had the great opportunity to teach a diverse range of university level courses throughout my doctoral degree.

I have also instructed students as a tutor and contractual teacher for private high schools in preparation for university. I strive to create a calm and stress-free environment to help students relax and capable of focusing on the subjects of concern.

About the lesson

I am very familiar with teaching and tutoring starting from high school into graduate university programs as exemplified by my extensive and diverse teachings experience as a professor at a highly sought after university. This allows me to tailor my lessons to assist in what can be a very difficult transition from high school to university settings.

I typically begin by assessing the students abilities and any possible areas they find troubling, I will then proceed to ensure they have the proper basic fundamental understanding which will permit them to excel going forward. I strive to make students feel comfortable and as stress-free as possible by focusing on the on the subjects the student has a sufficient grasp of and then progressively build upon them until they feel comfortable on their own.
