About Imre

Education:
Grade 12 student, have received honor roll in all my years of high school. I have taken English 11 and English 12, achieving a grade of A in both classes. Apart from that I also have taken additional English classes such as Creative Writing 11 and 12. I reached a grade of A in those classes as well. I also regularly participate in my school's Debate Club, Ethics Club, and Model United Nations Club. Each of these extracurriculars has extended my vocabulary and speaking skills.

Goals:
My goal is to help students build confidence in their reading, writing, and speaking skills. I understand that English can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether it is essay writing, literary analysis, grammar, or exam preparation. My role is to break down complex ideas into clear steps so students do not feel overwhelmed

Each session is carefully planned to match the student’s grade level and individual learning style. I provide feedback which helps students to develop their writing skills and simultaneously think independently.

I believe that strong communication skills open doors in every subject and future career path. Students will receive my full support through patient teaching methods which I will use to help them reach their academic objectives.

About the lesson

Teaching Approach:

I use a student-centered and supportive learning approach designed to meet each learner at their individual level. My lessons are structured, engaging, and focused on building both skills and confidence.

Lesson Structure:

• Warm-up activity, vocabulary review, short reading passage, phonics practice, or guided discussion to activate prior knowledge
• Guided practice – clear instruction with step-by-step support and immediate feedback
• Independent or semi-independent practice, students apply skills on their own with appropriate guidance
• Review and understanding check, a quick recap to reinforce learning and ensure clarity

Teaching Style

I am patient, encouraging, and approachable. I create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel safe asking questions and making mistakes.

• Strong focus on building student confidence and motivation
• Individualized feedback tailored to each student’s needs

Imre helped my younger brother catch up to the rest of his peers over the course of a few weeks, working at his level and pushing him to gain a better understanding of grammar.
