About Angelina

I am truly passionate about teaching and committed to giving my best to every student so they can reach their goals. My approach is supportive and adaptable — if something isn’t clear, I take the time to explain it in different ways until it makes sense. I believe tutoring is not just about academic success, but also about building confidence and encouraging students to enjoy learning. I also bring experience working with children aged 2 to 14 through babysitting, including supporting a child with disabilities. This has helped me develop patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs and personalities.

About the lesson

1. Understand the Student
Start by learning about their goals (e.g., exam prep, improving grades, building confidence).
Ask about their learning style (visual, verbal, hands-on, etc.) and what they find challenging.
Build rapport so they feel comfortable asking questions.

2. Tailor the Lessons
Adapt explanations to the student’s level of understanding.
Use examples that connect to their interests (sports, games, hobbies) to make concepts relatable.
Adjust pacing — slowing down when needed, or challenging them with extension work if they’re ahead.

3. Encourage Active Learning
Ask guiding questions instead of giving all the answers.
Use practice problems, real-world scenarios, or discussions so the student engages with the material.

4. Provide Support Beyond the Lesson
Share strategies for studying, note-taking, and managing exam stress.
Give feedback and encouragement that’s constructive but positive.
Check in on progress regularly and adjust the plan if needed.

5. Be Patient and Adaptable
• Every student learns differently, so flexibility is the key
