About Monika
I am Monika Malhotra, an Interior Designer and Hindi teacher, with a degree in education and over 17 years of experience in teaching internationally. Having taught in Montessori, Primary, Secondary and IB schools, I have gained the experience of teaching Hindi with various different types of students and curriculum.
With my teaching experiences in Singapore, India, and overseas, I have gathered an extensive database of resources, which aid my teaching skills.
Aside from Hindi, I am passionate and have graduated in Fine Arts, and using these skills, I am able to create fun and engaging lessons for all my students.

With over 17 years of expertise, I have a passion for learning and teaching. With a degree in Interior Designing, I use creative mediums such as art to teach the language to younger kids, as well as song. For older children, making conversation is the best way to learn a language!
With a degree in education, I use methods such as active recall, imagery, and invoking critical thinking skills.
Moreover, my classes not only teach the students the language, but also prepare them for any upcoming examinations - with practice tests, quizzes, and other examination style activity. By incorporating assessments, worksheets and homework, students can prepare themselves for any type of examination that may come their way; not limited to listening, composition, comprehension and oral.
Having experience with teaching CBSE, IGCSE, IB, A level, O level, PSLE and other curriculums, classes are prepared in a way to address not only a student's specific needs, but also allows the student to develop necessay skills for their exam board.
Classes are suitable for all ages, from Montessori, Primary, Middle and High school, as well as junior college.
