About Shivam

Hi! My name is Shivam. I'm native to Bihar India, the heartland of the Hindi language. I've been teaching Hindi professionally for five years now, and I love it! I like to take students several language tracks, from beginner to intermediate, and even to advanced. My students come from all walks of life and from many different countries. Now many of them are fluent in Hindi, and I've had the privilege of being their primary teacher. Part of my philosophy is to have students begin speaking Hindi from the very first day. While we can talk in english from time to time when necessary, keeping class in Hindi, even very broken Hindi, is very important for your growth. Try out a class with me, I'd love to help you learn this beautiful language!

About the lesson

This is a comprehensive course in Hindi language for beginners/ advance beginners level. The lessons are professionally designed to explain basics of Hindi grammar with simple examples and worksheets with solutions. Anyone with no intention to learn Hindi script can also take this course as the medium of instruction is English with on-screen notes in Romanised Hindi (Transliterations).

We have introduced sufficient rules and examples for you to understand Hindi completely. Some language courses use only translation method. This is what distinguishes this course from other courses. Otherwise you could learn Hindi reading a dictionary!

Those who are looking for only lots of translated sentences and expressions to mug up as means of learning the language this course will offer a different layout. By the end of this course you can expect to achieve a substantial progress towards your long term Hindi learning goal.
