About Sage
I provide a monthly recorded review of progress for every student. Feedback is essential for growth. We spend time on ear training, improvisation, and reading sheet music to ensure a complete understanding of the fretboard. My 13 years of experience allow me to pivot quickly when a student struggles with a specific scale.
I watch how you hold the pick and adjust your posture to prevent fatigue. You will find that our time together focuses on sustainable improvement.

Teaching music is how I stay connected to the rhythm of daily life. Sunlight streams through the window as I pick up my guitar to demonstrate a blues progression.
Having taught for 13 years, I have seen 346 students grow from beginners into confident players. My ARCT background provides a formal structure for our exploration of electric technique and theory.
I keep my approach grounded and gentle for every teen or hobbyist who walks through the door. It is rewarding to watch a student finally grasp a difficult chord transition. I enjoy the process of breaking down complex concepts into simple movements.
