About Alba
I’m a friendly and approachable native Spanish speaker from Spain, and I’ve been living in Manchester for the past 10 years. I have a degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Human Resources, and I also have previous experience tutoring children.
Living in the UK for so many years has given me a great understanding of both Spanish and British culture, which I enjoy bringing into my lessons. I’m passionate about helping people feel comfortable speaking Spanish in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
My aim is to make learning practical and fun, focusing on real conversations and everyday Spanish rather than making you feel like you’re sitting in a classroom. Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply want to improve your confidence, I’d love to help you enjoy Spanish and feel comfortable using it in real life.

I’m not a traditional language teacher, and that’s actually what makes my approach different. My lessons are focused on conversation, everyday Spanish and practical communication, rather than spending the whole time learning grammar from a textbook.
