About Peyton

I would like the opportunity to share my range of skills in education by tutoring students from elementary school, high school, and college/university. From personal academic experience I know how difficult subjects like math and science can be to truly understand. The Covid-19 pandemic has set back learning for many students, therefore I hope to rebuild their academic confidence and reduce anxiety surrounding areas in need of improvement. My main objective involves implementing strategies and inquiries that allow the student to thoroughly understand the content, rather than memorize the details or steps of a specific thought process. By doing so, the student can learn valuable tactics to approach adjacent content problems and questions they may struggle with. Overall, I am confident in my ability to develop and apply tutoring plans that best fit each individual student’s academic needs.

About the lesson

I have a passion for teaching, I find importance in students understanding concepts rather than memorizing them. I am the daughter of a teacher and I have learned the ways in which teaching should be approached, and I am excited to implement these strategies to allow other students to succeed.

Peyton was a crew trainer at McDonald’s where I worked as her manager. She was always very engaged when training the crew and help her co workers around her. Her ability to work with new crew was outstanding, always making them feel welcome and ensuring they were understanding everything being shown. I think she would make a great teacher because she understands that everyone learns differently and is great adapting to their style.
