About Mary
Hello, my name is Mary Gabrielli!
Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to be in the medical industry. I am currently still a student just like the rest of you, and because of that I believe I have a very real and active understanding about how intimidating school can be. I have gone through all of the ups and downs when it comes to academia, but these challenges have instilled a greater confidence in me because I worked to utilize the challenges into greater work ethic. Feeling the confidence in yourself is key, once you have that the work doesn't seem so big and intimidating anymore, school becomes fun.
Along with being a student, I am also a person with many hobbies outside of academics. My whole life, up until recently, I was a professional dancer in various forms of dance. Dance was a huge part of my life and is one of the biggest reasons I have the courage I have today! Along with dance, I have a great passion for literature - I read every chance I get!
I believe that through my experiences, I can guide you to a more confident academic journey!!

As a current University student, I am actively witnessing and experiencing the life that is post-secondary education. With that experience, I have learned how important academic skills are - not just memory recall, but true conceptual understanding, as well as discipline and various studying strategies.
Helping students find their confidence in the work they do is key, sometimes that means starting from the ground up and for others this means building off of foundations they have already developed but do not know how to expand on. My goal is to ensure every student of mine is not only well prepared in reciting concepts, but can fully apply critical thinking skills to any concept being touched on.
As an Honors Biology student, I teach all grade levels with specific highlights on areas such as anatomy, physiology, and cellular biology. I also teach English and Math up until the tenth grade level
