About Brad
Whether you are looking for a new hobby, looking for something to pick up to impress friends or a partner, or are stuck on a song you’ve been working on for a while, I’m your guy. I’ve been teaching guitar for 10 years and have played on stages ranging from 10-6000 people. I will also not force the almighty “music theory” or reading sheet music upon you (unless you want to learn!) If you take lessons with me, I can guarantee you will be learning songs right away. Not only am I an elementary teacher in Ontario, I have taught group lessons to 60+ adults, middle school groups, kids as young as 5, along with people who have physical exceptionalities.
My goal for your learning is for you to enjoy the process and celebrate the final result whenever possible.
I am excited for you to start playing, even if it is just for 4 lessons or 400!

Each lesson will be catered to your learning preferences. If you want something laid back, I’ll happily be your guide; if you want something a little more rigid and traditional, my many years’ of lesson taking can manifest that. I will provide resources, song charts, among any other requirement to ensure your success (with the exception of gear!). If you want to start with a half-hour lesson, we can begin there. If moving up to an hour works better for you, we can use an hour instead. I will introduce a series of technological programs and apps (either paid or free) to make your learning easier and help you become independent as a learner. You shouldn’t be taking lessons forever and ever, and I wouldn’t be doing my job not teaching you independence.
