About Ekaterini
I am an Honours Law and Society student at Wilfrid Laurier University and will be attending law school at the University of Sussex. In the meantime, I completed a Justice program at Harvard University. I am very experienced in the field of law, both theoretically and practically.
Past tutoring experiences include assisting Catechism classes for young children when I was in Greece, as well as helping students with special needs and learning disabilities throughout my last year in high school. In both experiences, I had the opportunity to grow as a teacher/tutor and understand the various needs of all different students. In the process, the students were similarly able to achieve academic excellence while developing a deep comprehension of the subjects discussed.
Further down in this posting, you will find attached a YouTube video of my application for the Tandia 2019 Post-Secondary Scholarship Award. Though it is from two years ago and a lot has changed ever since, it will give you an idea of who I am and my character.

Hello, there!
I am currently completing my BA in Honours Law and Society and LLB from the University of Sussex, England. I am very passionate about my studies, allowing me to have completed my studies so far with an excellent academic average, placing me on Wilfrid Laurier University's Honour Students Dean's List. While working on my degrees, I have taken up the positions of Vice President of Youth and Social Media Coordinator of Hamilton Centre's Liberal Party, allowing me to have developed some practical a politico-legal experiences for myself.
I aim to assist students in high school or in their first year of university. I can assist with different philosophical or law-related subjects, such as the philosophy of law, philosophical theories, philosophical figures, sociopolitical issues that involve legal or philosophical ideas, etc. I am flexible depending on whatever your needs are.
The lesson structure will be very flexible, and my goal is to meet your needs and desires from each tutoring session. I wish to create a very comfortable setting for you as I understand that it is through such settings that you will be able to best learn and understand the subjects we will be discussing during our sessions.
The formating varies based, as aforesaid, on your individual needs. We can do discussion-based (allowing you to expand your ideas and challenge yourself), a question-answer, devil's advocate session (wherein I challenge all your claims and assumptions to help you develop your arguments, or you challenge the subjects I discuss in order to assist your critical thinking), simple teaching session, and the list goes on!
I am open to all options, and we can discuss them further together to find the best fit for you and your learning habits.
If you have any special needs, I will try my best to meet them and adjust your learning experience in a way that best serves you. We can discuss this further as well and see how I can improve to better help you in your studies!

Ekaterini is a very meticulous and knowledgable person. Her attention to detail and he wide knowledge allow her to think things in ways others don't. That's why she makes such a great and helpful tutor, you will not find any other person that can converse with you and make you think as deep as she does. In addition to all this, she is also such a joy to be around and can make friends very easily!!! She's the best!!
