About Jess

I am an Early Years Practitioner working in a nursery, and am also a freelance content writer. I have a BA in English and my course covered language, literature, and creative writing. I have prior tutoring experience up to GCSE level and have helped past students achieve up to 3 grades higher in exams and assessments over time. I am looking to expand my reach to both younger and older groups.

About the lesson

I like to work closely and collaboratively with my students to ensure that their concerns and areas for improvement are being specifically addressed. That way, we don't waste time and effort going over irrelevant material or activities and can hone their skills more efficiently. I take a fairly casual approach to communication with my students whilst still remaining professional, so as to allow them to build trust in me without feeling intimidated. At the end of the day, I'm here to help and I like to make that very clear to my students.
