About Kian
Hi, I'm Kian! I have recently graduated from a top selective high school (Baulkham Hills High School) and have noticed the importance of being exposed to content in a way where you can UNDERSTAND it. The better a student understands the content, the more efficient and effective their studies will be. As your tutor, I will strive to ensure you understand exactly what is expected of you, to best prepare you for all exams. You won't feel the need to memorize hundreds of pages of notes, rather you will realize that 80% of that can be taught once and then understood. As Mike Ross said, "Once I understand something, I never forget it"

My personal approach focuses heavily on understanding the content, which inextricably interrelates with encouraging my students to ask questions. I believe a strong understanding of the content allows for more efficient, effective learning.
A typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour, but I am open to discussing other lengths to meet your needs.
As a tutor, I have experience in both private and group tutoring sessions, with both high school and primary school students.
My lessons would be best for high school seniors (Years 11/12) as I deeply understand the syllabus having just completed it, but juniors (Years 7-10) will also find immense value in my lessons.
