About Eric
Student feedback guides our pacing as we navigate the RCM syllabus together. A single well-placed shift in hand position can resolve an entire afternoon of frustration. We focus intently on tuning by ear during the opening portion of our time.
My lessons rely on the precision I gained throughout my own years of study. I integrate specific drills for double stops and vibrato into every single meeting. You will find that my approach prioritizes clarity above all else. This process creates a calm space for you to develop at your own speed.

Intonation and spiccato bowing form the bedrock of my technical approach as a violinist. Since age 7, I have developed a deep intimacy with the instrument through rigorous conservatory training. Holding a degree from Humber has provided me with the formal structure I now pass on to my pupils. I have spent 13 years refining how to translate complex concepts into clear movements.
