About Victoria

I have been both a volunteer and private tutor teaching both primary and secondary students. It is a very enlightening experience preparing the younger generations academically. I did the International Baccalaureate Diploma, which has taught me the epitome of resilience in education and learning, which my students/tutees will notice as well. I am also currently an Economics and Philosophy double major at Saint Mary's University. In terms of more personally, I have a pretty cool and calm persona. I've almost seen it all, so I have experience with teaching different types of students. I believe that there are outstanding abilities in us all in learning. We just have to find our reason!

About the lesson

As a tutor I engage personally with students to figure out what type of learner they are, any mental holdbacks that keep them from reaching their full potential and go from there in order to go forward with the best teaching methods as possible.

I take my time with students to ensure that they are learning the material being taught with genuine care and appreciation of being their tutor.

As a younger university student who has experienced the most rigorous academic programs ever, I know that discipline is needed and aim to instill that within my tutees as well. I am also very interdisciplinary, but specialize in basic math like Algebra for example, in tutoring.
