About Ernest
Starting our first session involves assessing your current speaking confidence and specific goals. It is a straightforward process to identify your gaps. We practice presentation skills and writing structures using the same techniques that make music theory accessible.
My lessons cover academic writing and vocabulary building for IELTS and TOEFL preparation. Beginners often enjoy how quickly idioms and expressions become clear. I work with working professionals to ensure they feel prepared for any testing environment. It remains a very practical way to learn.

Completing a Bachelor of Arts in English and a BM in Guitar at Humber College provided a unique foundation for my teaching method. Sometimes I wonder if my blend of language and music instruction is unconventional. My career spans 13 years of helping students grow. I integrate music into ESL for newcomer families to make language acquisition natural.
Singing helps students internalize rhythm and vocabulary through songs. Young learners in Toronto and Vancouver find this approach helpful for building confidence. Adult learners and IELTS candidates also appreciate the methodical way I break down complex grammar. It is a pleasure to support your linguistic journey.
