About Saeed

Hi, I’m Saeed! I’m a first-year Economics student at the University of Calgary. I did the IGCSE curriculum at a SABIS school, finishing with an A* in English, an A in Math, and a 96% overall average, and I scored 1420 on the SAT, with English as my strongest section.
I’m also preparing for the LSAT because I plan to go to law school at the University of Toronto, so I spend a lot of time on careful reading, clear writing, and logical reasoning. Those are the same skills I bring to my English and Math lessons.
I took these exams recently, so I remember what helped me and what didn’t. I’m patient, I’ll explain things as many ways as it takes, and I’ll be honest and encouraging about your progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around past papers, because that’s what the exam actually tests. I sat IGCSE recently (A* in English, A in Math), so I know what examiners reward and where students lose marks.
A typical session starts with a quick check on what you found hard since last time. Then we work through real exam questions together, and I show you how marks are awarded step by step. In Math, I focus on understanding the method so you can handle questions you haven’t seen before. In English, we work on essay structure, comprehension technique, and writing that answers the question. We finish with a short plan for what to practice before the next lesson.
I’m patient and happy to explain things more than one way. I’ll also be honest about where you stand and what needs work.
These lessons are for IGCSE students, and for high school students who want help with Math, English, or SAT Reading and Writing.
