About Jyotiprakash

I am a Mechanical Engineering student at IIT Kharagpur. Trough out my school and JEE journey i have seen many teachers not teaching the concepts properly and sometimes teaching misleading concepts. Thus I want to present my experience as a student to my students by not commiting the same mistakes as my teachers.

About the lesson

As a teacher, my approach to teaching math and physics naturally adapts to the unique characteristics of each subject.

When teaching math, I often find myself delving into abstract concepts and symbolic representations. My goal is to guide students through the process of understanding mathematical structures, algorithms, and proofs. I encourage them to engage in problem-solving activities that challenge their logical reasoning skills and deepen their conceptual understanding. Visualizations and diagrams are useful tools in illustrating abstract concepts, but the emphasis lies in cultivating their ability to manipulate symbols and apply mathematical principles to solve complex problems.

On the other hand, teaching physics involves a more hands-on and experimental approach. I strive to connect theoretical concepts to real-world phenomena, making use of demonstrations, simulations, and laboratory experiments to illustrate physical principles. By engaging students in active exploration and inquiry-based learning, I encourage them to apply mathematical concepts to analyze and interpret experimental data. Visualizations and models play a crucial role in helping students visualize abstract physical phenomena and understand the underlying mathematical relationships.

While both subjects share a common foundation in mathematical reasoning, the teaching techniques I employ for math and physics vary to accommodate their distinct characteristics. In math, I focus on building abstract reasoning skills and fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. In physics, I emphasize the application of mathematical tools to analyze real-world situations and encourage students to explore the interconnectedness of physics with other disciplines.

Ultimately, my goal as a teacher is to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning in my students, regardless of whether I'm teaching math or physics.
