I hold an MS degree from IIT Madras and have worked rigorously on mathematical problems. I believe that learning by doing is more effective. Especially subjects like mathematics and physics are not the ones to be mugged up. Understanding concepts is at the core of these subjects.

My style of teaching is to first present a bird's eye view of the concept and then go into details. However, depending on the topic, I switch between a top-down or bottom-up approach. I believe that learning happens when we are faced with problems, so problem-solving is indispensable to learning.
