About Laura

Ciao, sono Laura, Italian Mother tongue who just moved 2 years ago to Canada. I love sharing the beauty of Italian, a language I’ve cherished and mastered through years of studying its literature and winning national poetry prizes. I conduct all my studies in Italian and can also teach in English or French. Whether you want to converse naturally, improve your grammar, or start from scratch, I’m here to guide you with lessons that are both joyful and effective.

About the lesson

In my lessons, we will understand your needs and set your goals for learning! We go beyond just grammar and vocabulary. You’ll learn Italian as it’s really spoken, full of rhythm, expressions, and the little cultural nuances that make the language come alive. Together, we’ll explore everyday conversations, traditions, and even the delicious world of Italian food and lifestyle. My goal is for you to feel confident speaking, understanding, and enjoying Italian in a natural and joyful way.

Perfect! Laura is an exceptional teacher. Her approach is very practical. She helps me practice a lot of useful vocabulary because it is very vital to getting a functional proficiency in a language. I honestly do not do much homework, it's only the time that I spend talking with Laura that has made me already reach level B1 in Italian without much practice. It's very productive.
