About Fiona
I'm Fiona Shi from China. As a student majoring in Biomedical Sciences, I'm interested in human biology and really willing to help secondary school students who will be taking the AS&A Level Biology exam. I achieved a score of 94% in A Level Biology in 2022 CIE exams. During 2022 summer, I took the role of a teaching assistant in one of the biggest educational institutions in China, teaching a group of excellent students who thereafter got into University of Cambridge, Imperial College, UCL, etc. I've received positive feedbacks from my students and really hope to give more help with my own knowledge and energy. I'm providing online lessons to secondary school students who will be taking the AS&A Level Biology exams.
Teaching platform: Zoom or Tencent Meeting or Microsoft Teams.
Typical length of a lesson: 1 hour.
The contents will be demonstrated using PowerPoint, as well as a PDF document to give you a more detailed version of content and knowledge that will be covered throughout a lesson, and you can refer to the PDF document at any time. The lessons will follow the order of chapters in CIE AS & A Level coursebook.
Last year I took the role of a teaching assistant in one of the biggest educational institutions in China for a month. During those lessons, I mainly presented the homework questions and explained the answers for my students, and they've provided quite positive feedbacks for me.
The lessons can be tailored for you, e.g., to focus more on the knowledge or the past paper questions that you've been confused about.
