About Gladys
"Graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the Royal College of Music gave me the framework to analyse music with absolute precision. That education serves as the baseline for the 495 students I have mentored throughout my career.
I understand the specific mechanics needed to master improvisation and soloing. My 7 years of work have taught me how to break down complex concepts like blues progressions or fingerpicking into actionable steps. I focus on electric technique and acoustic technique to ensure versatility across genres. You will find my approach structured, analytical, and refreshingly honest."

"Your first session will focus on assessing your current ability to navigate reading sheet music and reading tabs. You will find that I prioritise efficiency over fluff because I value your time as much as my own. Developing your lead guitar skills requires a rigorous look at your hand posture and fretboard knowledge. I treat every student as a unique project.
My methods are informed by my formal conservatory training in London. I provide free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to assist your independent practice. I enjoy seeing your progress happen."
