About Wai Yan Htoon

Hello,
My name is Philip, you can also call me by my Burmese name "Wai Yan Htoon".
I'm 33 and living in Yangon.
At the age of 16, I attended the Institute of Marine Technology. After passing out ceremony, I had to join the shipping industry. After spending nearly a decade as a seafarer traveling around the world, I decided to quit my seafarer career life and re-joined to Educational fields.
Helping Burmese students in their Proficiency English who want to study abroad for their better career.
As well as teaching the Burmese Language to foreigners in different industries. Such as foreigners from EU Myanmar and various professionals who come to work in Yangon.

About the lesson

My teaching courses have 3 basic different courses.
1. Basic Burmese Conversation for Beginners (BBC for beginners)
Especially for those who are totally newbie to the Burmese Language. This course is really suitable for foreigners who want to visit Myanmar for the first time. Greetings, shopping (also how to bargain), ordering food, counting numbers, asking directions, and basic conversation for daily use are included.

2. Basic Burmese Writing and Reading
This course is specialized for Burmese alphabets, detailed explanations, writing in short sentences dramatically, practice reading to Burmese short notes and poems. as well as short articles.

3. Burmese Language for foreigners (Intermediate level)
Before attending this course you have to take an online exam to check your current level. Depending on your level I will decide which is the best way to improve your Burmese Language for further studies
