About Anna
Hi, I’m Anna! I hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering and have more than two years of professional tutoring experience with C2 Education. During that time, I worked with middle and high school students in math, English, and SAT preparation. I have also tutored math independently, providing one-on-one support tailored to each student’s academic needs.
My engineering background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. Just as importantly, my tutoring experience has taught me that every student learns differently. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without feeling judged.
I take my students’ goals seriously and come to each lesson prepared, dependable, and ready to help. Whether a student wants to strengthen foundational skills, improve a grade, prepare for an exam, or simply feel less intimidated by math, I aim to help them make meaningful progress and become more confident in their abilities.

My goal is not simply to help students finish an assignment or memorize a formula. I want them to understand why a method works, become more confident in their abilities, and develop problem-solving skills they can use independently. I take time to understand how each student thinks and where they are getting stuck so I can explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the student’s current material, goals, and areas of confusion. We then work through concepts and practice problems together, breaking difficult topics into clear, manageable steps. I ask questions throughout the lesson to check understanding and help students learn how to reason through problems rather than relying on memorization.
I provide patient, personalized support for middle and high school students, including help with homework, test preparation, foundational skills, and subjects such as pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and calculus. I strive to create a comfortable environment where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and building genuine confidence in math.
