About Jack

I’m a professional music and media creative with over 10 years’ experience working across video, audio, and digital content. My background spans broadcast television, creative agencies, and high-growth tech companies, where I’ve delivered and overseen content for commercial, editorial, and digital platforms.

Alongside hands-on production work, I’ve held senior roles leading multi-disciplinary creative teams, managing projects across video, audio, music, and post-production. This experience gives me a clear, practical understanding of how high-quality content is made in real working environments, and what standards are expected at a professional level.

I’m known for being calm, organised, and supportive in my teaching approach. I take time to understand each student’s goals and adapt my guidance accordingly, whether they’re learning the basics, building confidence, or developing more advanced skills. My aim is always to help students produce work they’re proud of, while giving them a strong foundation they can build on independently.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, structured, and grounded in real-world video production. I teach how professional video content is planned, shot, edited, and delivered, not just software shortcuts. Sessions balance clear explanation with hands-on exercises, breakdowns of real projects, and feedback on your own footage.

I cover the full production workflow, including camera operation, lighting, composition, audio for video, editing, and storytelling for digital platforms. Where relevant, I introduce professional workflows used in broadcast TV, agency production, and tech scale-ups, adapting each lesson to your experience level and goals.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with longer sessions available for project-based work. I have over 9 years’ experience in professional video and content production, including work across broadcast, agency, and high-growth tech environments, and have led multi-disciplinary creative teams delivering video, audio, and digital content at scale.

My lessons are suitable for beginners through to intermediate learners, including students, aspiring videographers, content creators, freelancers, and professionals looking to upskill. I teach adults and older teenagers. No prior experience is required.
