About Aaron
I am a motivated Drum tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching college students who want to improve rhythm, timing, and musical confidence. My aim is to help students grow steadily while enjoying the learning journey. My teaching style is creative, clear, and supportive. I focus on helping students understand the basics strongly before moving to advanced concepts.
I encourage critical thinking so students know why a rhythm works, not just how to play it. I use innovative teaching methods such as groove-building drills, tempo control exercises, and coordination training. I also include song-based practice and play-along sessions to help students apply skills in real music.
Accountability is an important part of my lessons. I help students set realistic goals and follow consistent practice routines. Regular feedback keeps students focused and motivated. Along with drum skills, I also teach rhythm reading, basic music theory, and performance confidence. My lessons are interactive, practical, and focused on long-term improvement.

My drum teaching approach focuses on clear learning, creativity, and steady progress. I believe students learn best when lessons are enjoyable and well-structured. Each lesson is planned according to the student’s level, goals, and learning pace.
Creativity is encouraged through groove creation, rhythm practice, and simple improvisation. Students learn to create their own beats and fills, helping them express themselves confidently. I also use songs and backing tracks to connect lessons with real music.
As a critical thinker and mentor, I explain rhythm concepts in a simple and clear way. Timing, coordination, and technique are taught step by step. Students are guided to think independently and improve their musical understanding.
Accountability is an important part of my teaching. I set clear practice goals and provide structured routines. Progress is reviewed regularly, and feedback is always supportive and motivating.
Along with drums, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm reading, tempo control, and performance skills. My goal is to help students become confident, creative, and disciplined drummers.
