About Cody

Whatever the topic, I assure you I have experience teaching in it. I enjoy teaching difficult concepts that many developing pilots struggle with such as weather and aerodynamics for example.

I have a very diverse training background in both Part 61 and several major Part 141 schools all over the country. I am a pilot cadet for a major carrier and am a full time flight instructor at a University.

I am passionate about instructing and I enjoy experiencing the journey of becoming a professional aviator with my students. Taking foreign concepts and abstract ideas and assisting others in developing understanding and knowledge is as fascinating to me as it is fun.

I am a very enthusiastic instructor and cannot wait to work with each of my students.

About the lesson

I always try to first establish students' prior knowledge, if any, and build from there. I have a lot of experience in instructing and have written and published my own lessons. I try to tailor each of my lessons to the students' needs and keep explanations clear, concise and relatable.

Typical lessons will vary based on students individual learning abilities and needs.

I can teach all phases of training including Private, Instrument, Commercial and CFI-I.
