About Lori
Many players get stuck because they lack a solid foundation in their technique. Have you ever wondered why your soloing feels disconnected from the rhythm?
I fix this by introducing mechanical structure and theory that you can actually apply to songs. We will break down your gear to ensure proper tuning and maintenance.
Then, we move into the mechanics of improvisation and clean chord transitions. Keep it simple. My 13 years of playing and 7 years of teaching inform everything we do together.

Music provides a way to process the chaos of touring life. The smell of worn wood and old strings always brings me back to the stage. I started teaching because I realized that many self-taught players hit a wall once they reach a certain level.
Over the last 7 years, I have helped 293 students refine their barre chords and master power chords. My work with guitarists focuses on building the discipline that turns a hobbyist into a real musician.
I bring my experience from 13 years on the chanson circuit to every single interaction. Sometimes, we talk about maintenance or the best way to approach improvisation. I value the grit it takes to keep showing up to practice. It is always a good time to pick up the instrument.
