About GUSTAVO

I’ve been an actor since I was 15 years old, with professional experience in Spain, New York, and Los Angeles. Throughout my career, I’ve worked as an actor, presenter, and acting teacher, working with both children and adults. For me, acting is more than a profession—it’s also a philosophy of life. Acting has taught me to rediscover listening, empathy, emotional awareness, presence, and the ability to recognize and release tension and fear. I believe acting is ultimately a study of the human being. My goal as a coach is to help each student discover their own way of expressing themselves truthfully, rather than imposing one specific formula or technique. Whether you’re preparing for an audition, working on a scene, building confidence, or simply exploring acting for the first time, I want our work together to be creative, practical, personal, and enjoyable. About the lesson

“Emotions and relationships—in life and in acting.” My lessons are centered on one essential idea: truthful acting begins with listening, connection, and being present. Through sensory and emotional exercises, improvisation, scene work, character exploration, and audition preparation, we work on becoming more connected to ourselves, our scene partners, and the circumstances of the story. Rather than forcing emotions or focusing only on the final performance, we explore what makes each moment feel alive and authentic. We work on listening, emotional availability, imagination, confidence, spontaneity, and releasing unnecessary physical and emotional tension. Every student is different, so I adapt the sessions to your experience, personality, and goals—whether you’re a beginner discovering acting, an experienced actor preparing for an audition or role, or simply someone who wants to become more expressive and comfortable in front of others. Above all, acting should remain something we enjoy. Growth comes through curiosity, exploration, play, and the freedom to make mistakes.

When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?
When I was fifteen years old. I had a school subject called "Art" and in the second semester we were supposed to shoot a short film. We did it and I fell in love with it!
Which artists or works affect you the most?
Paul Newman, Robert de Niro, Leonardo di Caprio, James Mcavoy, Jake Gyllenhaal.
What are the qualities and skills required to succeed in this area?
Patience, Resilience, Perseverance. Learning from yourself everyday. Accepting, respecting and taking care of your heart, mind and soul.
What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?
Take the process like if you were in an adventure. Find the joy in whatever you do. Be a kid.
How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?
Acting is living consciously. It gives me the chance to be connected with myself, and being connected with who you are and what you need is HAPPINESS.
What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?
I am especially proud of my work in the TV show "Apaches" for Netflix playing the main character of the series.
Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?
Every single class there is a lesson or note that I take from a student. They know much more than they believe and when there is one of these moments of realization it's wonderful to be present with them.
