About Sofia

I am a student from Finland who is currently settled in Glasgow. I am fluent in three languages; Russian, Swedish and English and I have a big interest in photography. Working as a language tutor is something that is really amazing and makes all the difference in the world.

About the lesson

My teaching methods include self-testing and speaking memorization. I approach each topic by going through with thorough detail. As homework, the student might even get to watch a movie in the language they are learning to increase the recognition for the language.

Perfect! Sofia is an amazing teacher! She prepares the lessons in advance, helps me with specific questions (the tough grammar bits!) and makes the learning process fun and interactive by giving me movies and cartoons to watch and newspaper articles to read in addition to grammar and vocabulary.
She is also flexible in the content of the lessons as well as for times. I highly recommend her :)
