  • 1) When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I started swimming at a young age, and very early I realized how powerful water can be—both calming and challenging. Over the years, I saw many people around me who were afraid of water or who simply never had the chance to learn properly. That’s when I decided to become a swim instructor. I wanted to help people overcome their fears, build confidence, and discover the joy of swimming. This field became more than a job for me; it became a mission.
  • 2) What makes you passionate about your subject?

Swimming is one of the few sports that is both a life skill and a form of meditation. I’m passionate about teaching because I see real progress in every session—whether it’s someone learning to float for the first time or mastering freestyle breathing. Helping someone reach a level they never thought possible gives me energy and purpose. Watching a student transform from fear of deep water to confidently swimming across the pool is incredibly rewarding.
  • 3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a “Superprof”?

I love tailoring each lesson to the student’s personality, learning style, and level. No two swimmers are the same, and I adjust my teaching method accordingly. What makes me a “Superprof” is my patience, calm energy, and structured program. I take the time to explain every step, and I never rush the learning process. Most of my students are able to swim confidently after around 8 sessions thanks to this method. I believe in creating a safe, friendly, and motivating environment where students feel supported from day one.
  • 4) Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

Yes. I had a coach growing up who always said, “Water rewards patience.” He taught me techniques, but also discipline, respect, and trust—qualities that I now pass on to my own students. His calm and encouraging approach shaped the way I teach today. He made me realize that a great instructor is not only someone who shows how to swim, but someone who builds comfort, confidence, and courage in the water.
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

My keys to success are consistency, patience, and communication. I never assume the student “should already know something.” Instead, I break skills down step-by-step and adapt until the swimmer feels confident. I also believe in explaining clearly why each technique matters—when students understand the logic, they improve faster. Finally, I bring positive energy to every class. When students feel comfortable and supported, learning becomes natural and enjoyable.
