Duration : 14 weeks (3 hours a week) - Price : $20.00 - Place : Westmount (H3Z 2A4)The actual international political context makes the understanding of the muslim societies very important.
The complexity of the Muslim World is avoided by the simplistic ways used in the medias to feed us with a pessimistic view of it.
This course is an introduction to the beginnings of Islam until it's evolution in the modern period. It's a History not a Theology class; we will go through the different empires and their repercussions on the world of Islam.
