About Fraser
I have extensive experience in the Physics olympiad community, being awarded the Guy Bagnall experimental prize and a bronze medal at the 2026 IPhO. I also have experience with Oxbridge admissions processes, achieving a score of 25.9/27 in the ESAT and 93.1 in the PAT, reading a masters in Physics and Philosophy at Oxford. Futhermore, I have previous experience coaching students through the BPhO examinations process and through Oxbridge admissions.

For GCSE/A level/IB lessons, I will be able to both teach content for the exams alongside exam technique necessary to earn A* grades/grade 9s.
For Oxbridge Admissions I will teach the necessary ESAT technique for the categories of maths 1 and 2 and physics to solve problems both efficiently and accurately, highlighting the repeated tricks that are present in every paper. I can also walk through practise interviews for Physics/Physphil/Natural sciences with original questions alongside clear feedback to explain what signals an Oxbridge tutor looks out for in said interviews to identify academic potential.
For physics Olympiad practice, I will provide coaching on how to pass each round of admission, including the first 3 selection exams and the easter selection camp. I will also bridge the gap in content between A level Physics and Olympiad Physics, including the problem solving skills that are absent in normal curriculums. Furthermore, I can also work through IPhO level practicals that are possible to do at home with minimal equipment (such as a slinky and a stopwatch).
