About Siobhán

As a dedicated Irish teacher with ten years of classroom experience, I pride myself on delivering high-quality, student-centered tuition. I have taught Higher and Ordinary Level Irish at both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate, and I bring a calm, structured and encouraging approach to every lesson. My methods are grounded in proven teaching practice, ongoing professional development, and a genuine passion for helping students unlock their full potential.

About the lesson

I am an Irish teacher in my tenth year of teaching, experienced in delivering Higher and Ordinary Level Irish at both Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert. I have worked with students from first year through sixth year, including exam-focused learners, students needing confidence-building, and those aiming for top grades.

My teaching is centred on tailored instruction—I design individualised resources and adapt my approach to suit the exact needs of the student in front of me. My methodology focuses on:

Clear breakdowns of grammar and written expression

Targeted oral Irish preparation using realistic exam-style conversations

Model answers and structured writing frames

Active learning strategies to build vocabulary and fluency

Junior Cycle (1st–3rd year), Higher and Ordinary Level
